Meet Matte

Mate To The Bone

My original plan for today was to give you guys a very intense "going out" makeup look.
But, funny story, my phone's camera stopped functioning so that didn't go as planned.
So, what I will address today is the best winter trend, and that is matte makeup. From foundation to lipstick, the colder days tend to beg for lack of glitter and shimmer and wish they got more simplicity. I personally love matte to an extent; nothing will stop me from approaching my various highlighters, which make my look pop in the right way.
So, I want to present to you guys a little collage I made of mate makeup in the next post.

Bath and Body Talks

My dear readers, it is Sunday night, closer to Monday than I wish to admit, my Sunday nevertheless.
Today I want to bring you a couple of gifting ideas that do not necessarily smell like Christmas but are great for any holiday season. I am talking about a couple of Origins gift sets you might have skipped when searching for that "perfect gift".
The idea came out to me when I was shopping for my mother (spoiler alert, I got her something from Origins!) and decided to  go for a brand that is well famed for their skincare, but what about the luxury of bath and body products?
So, here I have three great and lovely scented gift ideas.

I want to start with my personal favorite that goes by the name "Ginger Pleasures".
In this $55.00 set (with a value of $75.00) you get to indulge with their Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream, Ginger Float Cream Bubble Bath, Ginger Essence Sensuous Skin Scent, Warm Up Candle, and a  Body Puff.
Now, the main reason this attracts me is simply because the scent of ginger can go from energizing to relaxing depending on your necessities. It is not overpowering, but it has the power to wake you up in the morning, and bathe you to sleep at night.
Definitely a favorite of mine!

Next up we have "Calm On". The combination of lavender and vanilla can be even more therapeutic and delicious than you might imagine. This simple, yet classy set comes with two items: their Lavender and Vanilla Body Souffle, and the Lavender and Vanilla Oil for Bath and Body. It sells for $57. Now, this may seems steep for two items, but the sizes they come in are enough to last for a while, and go out there and smell it; you will fall in love with it.

Now, the last gift set I wish to show you tonight is one I could use at all times, being that I enjoy thick and scented body creams. The set is called "Souffle Trio" and it comes with 3 of their best souffles. Ginger Souffle Whipped Body Cream, Calm Your Senses Lavender and Vanilla Body Souffle, and a scent I haven't mentioned today, grapefruit in the form of a body cream that goes by the name Gloomaway. This retails for $38 which is nothing considering it a $60 value gift set.

You can find all these sets and more on their official website.
Make sure to check them out, and let me know which one of these sets is your favorite!

Opening Act

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I welcome you to a land of all that is my life and all that might consider to be style.
After spending a good amount of time thinking whether this is a good idea OR a great one, the decision was made.
I was meant to write;
Most recently it has all been an emotional blur on my second blog ( if you want to check that out), but lately my feelings haven't been as strong towards things (or people) as they usually are.
So, long story short, I will write here on everything else.
I want to bring you makeup tutorials, OOTD's, mini collages of items I like, food ideas, etc, etc.
But for now, again, I just want to thank you for taking the time to read this little intro and let's get to it!
